The program or computer locks up while you are using it:
* Check to see if you can minimize the window.
(Click on the minimize button, the one that looks like an underline, in the upper right corner of the window.)
* If the window minimizes, your computer isn’t really locked up and you need to continue waiting.
* If you can’t get the window to minimize, hold down the control (Ctrl), Alt, and Delete keys at the same time. A second window will pop up
(If you are using Windows 2000, select task manager).
* Highlight the line with the program that has locked up and select End Task
